On 13th May 2024 Steve will be taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge - aiming to complete the 24 miles and 5200ft of climbing in 12 hours. He is doing the walk in memory of two dear friends who have been taken by this dreadful disease.

Eric Johnstone, who has been a close family friend for many years, who died in September 2023.

Paul Gale, the father of our son-in-law, Adam, who died in June 2022.

It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer die within 3 months. Survival rates have improved enormously for most cancers, yet for pancreatic cancer, this is not the case.

He is undertaking the challenge with our friend Gavin and his son Adam. The money he raises will go to Pancreatic Cancer UK, which funds research into early detection of this disease and provides information and support for those with Pancreatic Cancer. Please give what you can in memory of Eric and Paul, and to help Pancreatic Cancer UK to continue their vital work.
